Every time you've thought of stopping, you've made plans, schedules, and roped in partners to make it happen. not this time. the best time to stop is right here, right now. it doesn't even have to fall into the 2x2 (2 minutes every 2 hours) routine. stop right now and play with your breath or move your body. at the office? take a break. driving? pull over and breathe or get out and stretch. your various responsibilities may clamor and claw for attention. but hey, it's just a couple of minutes. nothing's so important that it can't wait, right? life-threatening emergencies aside, no task or activity is so urgent. they always say 'if you can't beat them, join them'. so rope in your colleague who's badgering you for the latest report to stop and breathe. invite your best friend to shake a leg before you both head out on your weekly shopping chores. it is always more fun when you play with others. and if you're shy or uncomfortable, or just prefer your own company, that's perfectly ok too. the most important person in the universe is you. by stopping, you're making an effort to spend time with yourself. as you play and explore, you'll get to know yourself better. now, don't listen to the excuses hear in your head - you don't need the ideal partner, perfect gym, a 5-star spa, or a long vacation. the perfect time to stop is now and the perfect place to stop is here!
